The new Autocard is developed to create further value in the fibre preparation chain. It enables up to 18% higher productivity while carefully processing the fibres at a carding area larger than 4 m2. The seamless can changer ensures long-term uninterrupted carding processes resulting in constant sliver quality. Since machine’s main dimension are unchanged, the productivity per m2 of occupied floor space is significantly increased. The utilisation of highly efficient drive and control systems enable a considerably reduction in power consumption.

- Larger carding area
With a larger carding area over 4 m2 without changing basic dimension of the machine, more productivity than the predecessor machine can be achieved with the same footprint.
- Prime components
Thanks to higher precision of key components like cylinder, doffer and electric components,a minimum of power consumption can be ensured. In addition, servo motors are widely used so that pulley changing is no longer necessary during technology adjustment.
- MTA
With the new MTA (Micro-short term autolevelling) system, an excellent sliver performance can be ensured, thus suitable for almost all the downstream applications. This allows to reduce the number of draw frame passagers or to eliminate the draw frames completely.
- LED display
The new LED light concept is integrated to inform staff at an early stage with widely visible LED status display. Can fullness and running status can be shown to ensure a faster response guiding the operator to the right machine. In this way, less operators are needed in daily production.
- Senses mill management system
With Senses, the new mill management system from Saurer, it is possible to manage the production with the greatest possible independence from personnel and to control the production data anytime and from anywhere.
